Recipe Review-Creamy Chicken and Dumplings

I always wonder, when people try new recipes, what they end up thinking of them. Were they good? What would do different/chage?

Tonight, I made Creamy Chicken and Dumplings for dinner (like I said) and paired it with a green salad (like I said). It was actually quite good. Big Daddy and both girls liked it (though Littlebit seemed more enamoured by the broth than the dumplings, chicken and veggies.) It was super easy to make, going together in about an hour’s time, which is great for weeknight dinners.

I also used boneless, skinless chicken thighs as that’s what chicken we had on hand and it was quite good.

My picture isn’t quite as pretty as Amanda’s

(yes, those are retro spoons. They belonged to my Great-Grandma).

I also halved the dumpling recipe, which worked great. My only change would be to perhaps add some rosemary or even oregano to the dumplings or broth. If I wasn’t watching my carbs (sigh) I would have added some crusty bread too.

A great idea for future recipes this. Thank you for sharing it. Have you noticed how so many people appear to be cooking again? I wonder if the lack of funds due to the current climate has something to do with it and we all appear to be cooking again! its great!
