The Habit Project-Week Fail

Not even sure what to think at this point.  At two weeks in, there is no exercising happening.    NONE.  Sure, part of it is the weather.  It would be a lot easier if I could throw the baby in the stroller and go for a walk, but I can’t.  That leaves 1) joining a gym (I’d never go) or 2) doing it at home, which I would do but I seem to not want to or be able to find the time.

At this point I’m not sure if I should press on, trying to put together a 21 day string of exercise or move on to the next habit in my list, moving the exercise into spring or summer.  It’s something that I’ll decide in the next day or so.  I fI really feel that i can’t be successful at daily exercising until spring, it’s time to cut my losses and move on to the next step.  I’m not sure if that’s an excuse or just me being rational.

Despite cold weather I have been riding to/from work each day as my daily exercise. It may be the reason I am now at home full of a cold.

I read earlier this morning that (and I may be paraphrasing/misquoting here) “life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but about learning to have fun in the rain”. Nonetheless, maybe waiting for spring is not such a bad idea.
