Menu Plan-All Streamlined Like
Well, we’re still eating out of the freezer. I have no idea how long doing that will take us. It involves myself or Big Daddy padding out to the garage, assessing the contents of the chest freezer padding back in and then figuring out what you could eat from what’s there.
In addition, spring is getting hella busy. The Princess has soccer practice two days a week and this week she has scouts. Yikes! And we’re moving. Remember that? And I think Kevin, the hamster, needs to see the vet, but that’s another story.
The Princess has been asking for BLTs. I have no idea why, but I had bacon and a tomato and picked up bread and lettuce. We’ll have it with pickles and maybe frozen corn on the cob
Tuesday-Make Your Own Salad
We did this last week. I put out a group of different salad toppings and grilled some chicken (from the freezer) and everyone put together their own salad. It was healthy delicious and everyone seemed to really like making their own salad. I served it with a loaf of artisan bread but this week, I’m going to make my own one minute ciabatta bread.
Wednesday-Sour Cream Pork Chops, veggies and rice
Thursday-Ravioli lasagna, veggies and garlic bread
We did this last week in lieu of pizza night. It was so quick and easy I think we’ll repeat it for this week. However, no movies. It’s hockey play off time!!
Saturday–Beer can chicken on the grill, foil potatoes and onions and sauteed asparagus.
We’re making our first project from Knock-off wood with our friend. He’s going to show us the ropes and we’re going to be build a new entertainment center.
