Before Summer Ends..

Doesn’t it seem like this summer is flying by?  Maybe it’s because of our big move and the changes involved with that, but August is rounding the plate and is about to slide into home and once again I begin to lament that we haven’t done ANYTHING AT ALL!  ALL SUMMER!  I WASTED THE SUMMER!

I haven’t, but I tend to be a little dramatic in any case.

But, I think there’s still room to cram in more summer fun, so we’re going to be doing the following:

We may only have a month left, but I think there is plenty of time to still pack in the fun.  What fun things are you going to pack into the end of summer?

  2. Fellow 31DBBB here. This is a great post! I run a home daycare and these are terrific ideas to use with the kids. Thanks for sharing!

  3. You sure have lots to do! I want to join in! Great list. Great content!

You may want to have the title of the post reflect that it is a list of thing to do this summer. For example, 8 Things to Pack in this Summer. It would make it more eye catching. I would also number the list.

I like that you end the post with a question! My answer: We’re heading on our family vacation next week and then BlogHer the following! Craziness!

I see your point. I tend to title in fragments, but you’re right about a more descriptive, less artsy fartsy title.

I hope you guys have a great time on your vacation! Thanks for stopping by!

I was totally thinking about doing a picnic in our backyard one night! We have a ton of fireflies and a few leftover firecrackers. Thanks for the reminder!

Fellow SITS 31DBBBer here too. I like your tagline, saving the world before bedtime. You say a lot about your humor and your life in those simple words!

I’d add going to a local festival to this list. No matter what the festival celebrates, I love being out in the crowd enjoying music and meandering. Enjoy!

We’re a big marble run family over here as well. My boys are completely addicted to it! It sounds like you have a handle on the rest of your summer. And a great list for the challenge as well!

We’ll be heading to the beach for a week to finish off our time off. It’s great to meet you and I look forward to seeing your progress on the #31DBBB!

So jealous of the beach time, Julie. Our move pre-empted our beach trip this year and we’re missing it! Splash in a tidal pool for Littlebit and me!

mmmm… popsicles for breakfast?! What could be better?

Great list! Thanks for stopping by my blog, too.

  9. Hey there! Thanks for stopping by The Millennial housewife today! Love your blog and it was very nice “meeting” you! I love shopping for school supplies too – even though I am not looking forward to the kids going back to school :(

I’m the same. I hate them being gone all day, but the cheap school supplies help a little. New crayons for all!!

Great idea! I would love to make a list of all the things we can still do before school starts!

Hi :) Oh how I wish it was summer here at the moment. As I type this the outside temperature is -1 degree celsius! Enjoy what moments of summer you have left!!! ;)

I love school supplies too! Nothing better than cruising the stationery aisle looking at all the wonderful papery goodness!
