TGIF!

I mentioned doing the KCWC last week. It didn’t go so well. I guess when you are expecting 35 people for a birthday party and weekend company. I don’t really even have anything to share, but a no-sew tutu. BUT, I did sew some and I MISSED it. I haven’t really had much of a chance to be crafty for some time. Moving out and moving in and readjusting took all of my energy, but I think it’s time for me to make some time for crafty pursuits again. It’s good for my soul.

I don’t feel that ambitious, but this adorbale knitted frog suit is to die for. If you’re a super fast knitter maybe you could pull it off by Halloween?

Have I talked about how easy it is to make marshmallow fondant?  If I haven’t here’s a link.  It’s pretty and colorful, tasty and easy.  I used it to make Littlebit’s first birthday cake.

So, I stumbled upon The Oatmeal this week.  And then I loved for about an hour and made Big Daddy read about a dozen.

I love the chocolate trees on top of these cute fall themed cupcakes from @ Crazy http://allmylooseends.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1160&action=editDelicious Food.

Ricrac shares a pattern to make your own party turtles.  They are absolutely adorable.

This Pumpkin Bread Pudding looks like a great way to use a can of your VHTF canned pumpkin.  The pictures from Baked Bree are absolutely mouthwatering.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I did a practice run first, which helped my confidence. Looking back it wasn’t perfect, but I’m glad I did it. The little ladybug was my baby’s smash cake, which was super fun.

omg, that froggy suit? i loooooooove. too bad that 1) they don’t really make any big deal of halloween here (no costumes, parties, or trick-or-treating) and 2) it’s way too hot to wear something like that at the end of october here. but i want it anyway. love it!!!

It is adorable. I thought about trying to knit it for about three seconds and then decided that would be crazy talk. ;) Halloween is always so hit or miss here. It can be 80 one year and 30 the next.
